My Journey from Architecture to UX/UI Design
With a background in architecture, I’ve always been drawn to creating spaces that enhance human experience. My architectural thesis centered on future innovations and user-centered design, where I conducted deep research to explore how people interact with spaces and environments. The architectural thesis envisioned the progressive essence of artificial intelligence. The design employed curves in both facade and interior spaces, integrating intelligent program design, a heightened and the user experience. This focus on research, problem-solving, and understanding user needs seamlessly translates into the UX/UI world, where designing for people is at the core of the process.
During my time working in architecture, I had the opportunity to contribute to the creation of a large-scale project—the University of Massachusetts Amherst Computer Science (CISC) campus. This experience gave me invaluable insight into collaborating across disciplines and solving complex design challenges, which is critical in UX/UI design.
Now, I bring my passion for thoughtful, user-focused design into the digital realm, combining my architectural expertise with the principles of UX/UI to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing digital experiences.
